For the last 600 years (give or take, she jokes—she stopped counting), S chose solitude.
Not out of sadness, but necessity. She needed stillness to unweave the tangled threads of her
past—her mistakes, her loyalties, her purpose. Now, she’s stepping softly back into the world.
